Share

In the video, they show how villagers catch alpacas to cut their wool that is later processed into finished products. The entire process takes up to seven days to finish.

The wool then becomes thread and is cooked with local herbs to be finally woven into a garment. Everything is done by hand.

The tasks are intertwined with the daily life routine of cooking, caring for the children and sharing with the family.

Once the garments are finished they are taken to the market to be sold.
