President Martín Vizcarra ensures the execution of infrastructure projects and social works that will boost the country’s economy in 2019.
According to information published in El Peruano, he “affirmed that 2019 will be the year of economic and infrastructure takeoff for the benefit of all Peruvians, and outlines that the frontal fight against corruption will not be neglected, especially during the execution of works in all corners of the national territory”.
Vizcarra made this declaration during the start-up of the Ayabaca hospital construction where he guaranteed that “this establishment will be finished and put into service before the end of 2020”, El Peruano reported.
It is expected that this hospital will benefit approximately 30,000 inhabitants and will require a total investment of 90 million soles, of which 26 million have already been transferred.
“Starting next year, we will begin to work in educational institutions, in basic sanitation, hospitals, roads, that is, in the works that generate the development of Ayabaca, Piura and Peru,” said the President.
In this regard, he said that the works should continue with the newly elected authorities, but that supervision should not be left aside, to avoid acts of corruption, which should be punished.
