The Municipality of Lima and the Brazilian company OAS S.R.L. signed a contract to carry on with the works for the "Yellow Line," which will be the new Lima freeway, connecting Lima Downtown with the Eastern side of Callao, following the Rimac River.# Viracocha says :

This sounds like a worthwhile project, for sure.
The Brazilian company will spend $600M...but not for free...I imagine there will be a toll system applied to this road...so it won't actually be a "freeway", but indeed a "tollway".
Does anyone else think this?

There is a video in el comercio or something. It really looks awesome. And yes there will be a toll to use the road. And it is called a freeway because it is free of traffic lights.Add your comment
