FIDE excluded some days ago our representants from all competitions because of a 8,000 euros debt that the Peruvian Federation had with them.

Renato Terry from Trujillo was third, ahead of Cordova.

"I didn't think I was going to reach the first position. My level on long games has improved. The game against Grand Master Cordova was complicated. He played very good. It was the most difficult game I had in this tournament," said the Under-14 World Champion.
