Former U.S. President Bill Clinton to give conference in Peru

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton is to arrive in Peru on Friday March 27 to give a conference on economics at a well-known University in Lima.

Local media in Peru such as Peru.com and Trome newspaper reported that the former U.S. President would be arriving to the country this weekend and giving a conference at a university in Monterrico - a neighborhood in the Limean district of Surco.

The dailies, which explained this was not Clinton's first conference at the university, stated representatives were keeping the former president's visit highly confidential.

It was noted that President Alan Garcia and Prime Minister Yehude Simon were invited to Clinton's conference on economic development.

William Jefferson Clinton, who served as the 42nd President of the United States from 1993 to 2001, was the country's third-youngest president.

Where was Billy Bob when Bush put his political capital on the line for the FTA (TLC) with Peru?  Bush was whistling in the graveyard as far as the Democrats were concerned.  Not a one stood up for Peru.  And Obama doesn't care about Latin America now that Chavez called him an ignoramous.  And I thought all he had to do was just sit down and talk with these people??
