Ucayali region expects to receive 4,900 tourists during the local celebrations for San Juan Festival,
reported the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism.
According to their estimations, 50% of these visitors will arrive to Pucallpa in order to visit the city and do business in regional fairs.
The other 50% will visit the city with a package tour already bought and they will travel different tourist tours; 10% belongs to foreign tourists.
Main attractions in Ucayali are Yarinacocha lake, Pucallpa natural park, Velo de la Novia waterfalls and Chullachaqui botanic garden.
Ucayali Chamber of Commerce will also organize a business event with the participation of 150 Brazilian entrepreneurs, who will analyze trade opportunities via air transport.
