On June 1 and 2 will take place this year’s edition of Alta Gama Winefest with a tasting in the Country Club Lima Hotel.
More than 110 wine cellars and more than 800 luxury wine labels will be participating from countries like Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, United States, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Australia, and South Africa.
“Alta Gama Winefest is the most important wine event in the country”, informed the event organizers in a press release. It is organized by Distribuidora Almendariz and the winemaker Antonio Castro, and on its ninth edition, they will have some of the most recognized wineries in the world present their products.
Some of the winemakers present will be Alejandro Vigil, David Bonomi, Andres Vignoni, Claudio Masa, Armando Etchart, and Matias Ciciani from Argentina; Antón Fonseca from Spain; and Christian Urra, and Otto Kunz from Chile.
For anyone that would like to go to this event, the tickets are already available on the Teleticket website and the Almendariz stores for 180 Soles each. It includes one Riedel cup, 18 tickets for tastings, and the possibility to attend lectures with the international winemakers.
Until May 27, Scotiabank customers have a 25% discount on both the entrance price and the wines that will be sold in the Alta Gama. Subscribers of the newspaper El Comercio also have a 20% discount.
