The food fair Peru Mucho Gusto in Ilo recognized the cuisine and drinks of Moquegua and Arequipa on January 13, the last day this event took place.
“The Tradition Award of the fair was awarded to Bistro BBQ Grill & Bar of Moquegua and the Award for the Development of Gastronomic Tourism was won by Victoria Picantería Democrática de Arequipa”, reported La República.
Another award-winning restaurant was Manguaré in Junín for its innovative dish “Amazonian Baskets”. As for the Prize of the Most Beloved Dish, it went to Cevichería Dos Piratas of Lima.
