A week ago, President Martín Vizcarra, denied knowing that the Odebrecht company integrated the Conirsa consortium, with which his then company CyM Vizcarra hired, between 2006 and 2008.
Today the head of state reaffirms that position. “At that time nobody knew“, he emphasized in Punto Final, according to Gestión.
“There is no intention to hide anything because what CYM Vizcarra does is public. Reflecting on it, I take it as a learning experience,” he told the media.
He also said that as soon as he learned that Pedro Pablo Kuczynski had resigned he left the company CyM Vizcarra.
“He explained that he did not do it when he assumed the first vice-presidency because this position ‘has no specific work or function’. While when he took over the transport portfolio, Vizcarra commented that ‘he was operationally disconnected’”, Gestión revealed.
