According to Lima 2019’s Executive Director, Carlos Neuhaus, this sports event requires a lot of effort and many hands to help take care of every needed detail.
“Therefore, Lima 2019 and Balich Worldwide Shows, an Italian company in charge of the organization and delivery of the Lima 2019 opening and closing ceremonies, launched the ‘Talento Perú’ program to recruit a number of volunteer artists that is equivalent to the huge dimension of the chosen scenario: The National Stadium. Also, they both wish to leave an artistic legacy to Peru.”, Around the Rings website revealed.
Their objective is to recruit a large group of around 3,000 dancers and extras that will be led by Vania Masías, a choreographer.
“Juan Antonio Silva, Lima 2019 Communications, Commercial and Marketing Manager, explained that they are looking for 1700 volunteers for dancing and support tasks, but also other volunteers to be part of the production of this event”, the aforementioned website said.
People interested in applying can register at www.lima2019.pe and they will receive training for three months before the grand opening ceremony to be held on July 26. They will end on August 11, 2019, and 41 countries will be participating in 39 different sports.
