Miraflores: Visit the Huaca Pucllana at Night

With the help of an LED lighting system, visitors are able to experience the beauty of the Huaca Pucllana at night.

The site is located in Miraflores and has become one of the main attractions of the capital city, and the most researched archaeological site in Lima. The site, which served as a ceremonial and administrative center for the early culture of Lima that developed between 200 AD and 700 AD, is built almost entirely with bricks and filled with pebbles and sand. It has a pyramid 25 meters high and a set of patios, plazas and enclosures.

The light system for the main areas (huacas) includes 190 lights (reflectors and bars) and 360 meters luminous ribbon were noted.

Huaca Pucllana Visiting Hours

The night tours last 40 minutes and will be held from Wednesday to Sunday, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Cost: S/ 12.00 adults and S/ 6.00 for students, schoolchildren S/ 1.00.
