Friendship Day For Peru And Israel

Share

Very soon the Israeli embassy in Peru will announce several activities to celebrate Friendship Day between these two nations.

According to information published in the embassy’s website, in 2006 the Peruvian Congress approved a resolution that establishes the “Friendship Day Peru – Israel” every November 29, in order to promote and strengthen bilateral relations between Peru and Israel.

“This is a very important and significant date for the history of friendly relations and cooperation between the two nations, since Peru voted in favor of the formation of an Israeli state in a session of the United Nations Assembly, precisely on November 29, 1947”, they informed.

The embassy will soon announce the activities they have been preparing for this year to celebrate the two countries.
