The Ministry of Housing, Construction, and Sanitation increased the value of the bonus “Bono del Buen Pagador” (BBP), in its different scales, for the purchase of new households. It will go from 3,100 to 17,500 soles, according to information from El Peruano.

The maximum value of the real estate that can be purchased and take part from this benefit was also increased from 300,000 to 304,1000 soles.

The BBP bonus is a non-refundable direct financial aid, that is given through intermediary financial institutions, to people that meet the requirements and the assignment procedures to obtain it, the Ministry explained.
The highest bonus to be given is of 17,500 soles and only for households with prices between 57,500 and 82,200 soles. A 14,000 soles bonus will go to households with prices higher than 82,000, up to 123,200 soles.
Bonuses of 12,900 soles are for households with a price above the 123,200 soles, up to 205,300. And, the bonus of 3,100 soles qualifies for households with prices above 205,300 to 304,100 soles.
The different amounts correspond to an update that’s made according to the change of the UIT (Unidad Impositiva Tributaria), that has a value of 4,150 soles for 2018.
