Ivanka Trump, White House senior adviser, said that she would be visiting Peru during the VIII Summit of the Americas to unveil a women’s initiative, according to information from UPI.

She said to the media that women’s economic empowerment has always been a “core mission” of hers, and a priority for the administration. According to her, when women feel empowered economically, the economic growth and stability of the country are benefited.

“Trump said women typically reinvest about 90 percent of their profits into their families and communities, which creates a unique multiplier.”, said UPI, adding that the White House adviser believes that if governments invest in women, communities prosper and nations thrive.

Trump informed too that worldwide, women face a $300 million dollar shortfall access to credit, a gap that is the largest in Latin America.

I’m extremely excited for my visit and look forward to highlighting the important work that the US government and this administration are doing to empower women economically”, she said to UPI.
