Sinfonía por el Perú is an initiative by Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Flórez that seeks to change the lives of thousands of children who are in a disadvantage.

He was inspired by the Venezuelan orchestral system after he visited the Latin American country.

“The project offers free music education to children from poor backgrounds and is having remarkable results”, Euro News said. “A new study shows the significant impact that Sinfonía por el Peru has on the children”, they continued.

This project has helped many children change their lives by obtaining places in important orchestras.

“Sinfonía por el Perú means a family, my future, the place where I learned to be a better person and a better musician,” a violinist from the program told Euro News.
