Latam Airlines Perú Inaugurates Its First Direct Flight Between Santiago And Cusco


Latam Airlines Peru inaugurated its first direct flight between Santiago, Chile and Cusco, Peru on August 15.

The airline will operate three direct flights between both cities with an Airbus A319 aircraft with a capacity for 144 passengers, offering more than 45,000 seats per year on this route”, informed La Tercera.

Manuel van Oordt, general manager of Latam Airlines Peru said that with these international flights between Cusco and Santiago, it is now easier than ever to visit the Imperial City of the Incas. “This, in addition to our new direct flights from Cusco to the main tourist destinations such as Pisco, Iquitos and Trujillo, will allow passengers to explore Peru like never before”, he added.

Those other destinations, Pisco, Iquitos and Trujillo, will be available only during the season between July and November.

In total, Latam will fly to eight destinations from Cusco in 2018, including the seasonal services to Pisco, Iquitos and Trujillo, as well as services throughout the year to Lima, Arequipa, Juliaca, Puerto Maldonado and now Santiago, said the aforementioned media.
