In one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Paris, a new restaurant by Gastón Acurio opened its doors.

“An exotic world designed by designer Laura Gonzalez, where the miscegenation in the kitchen is orchestrated by the Peruvian chef Gastón Acurio”, wrote Le Figaro.

The decoration of the 600-square-meter space is in South American style that shows the “spirit of a young adventurer of modern times, gone to discover the world”, according to this webpage.

In the dining room, there are kiosks inspired by Asian, Peruvian and Mediterranean flavors that include sushi, bao burgers, dim-sums, and tapas.

Chef Gastón Acurio has lived in Paris for a long time since he studied at the Cordon Bleu school, where he met his wife. “He returned to his native Peru where he opened his first restaurant, in Lima, in 1994, with one idea in mind: to give a contemporary impetus to Peruvian cuisine”, Le Figaro said.

Today, he runs 50 restaurants in 12 countries around the world. In Le Gare you can find dishes starting at 28 €. It’s located at the place of the Chaussée de la Muette, 75116 Paris.
