After winning a national contest, 1,858 young people will benefit from a scholarship to attend universities such as the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, Cayetano Heredia University, National University of Engineering, National University of San Marcos, Tecsup, and Senati.
The scholarship was granted by the Peruvian State after a national competition convened by the National Program of Scholarships and Educational Loans (Pronabec) of the Ministry of Education.
“The scholarship holders will start their education in the 2018-II and 2019-I semesters and will receive, among other benefits, the annual payment of their studies during the entire career, a laptop, accommodation expenses (for those who study outside their place of residence), food, local mobility, health insurance, among others”, explained El Comercio.
The winners of these scholarships are from different parts of Peru, such as: Arequipa, Apurímac, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Cusco, Huancavelica, Huanuco, Junín, Loreto, Lambayeque, Lima, Madre de Dios, Moquegua, Piura, Puno, and San Martín.
