The mothers of “Baile y Porteo Perú” obtained the 2nd place in the fifth edition of the IMAsivo 2019 international dance competition with ported babies that took place in Mexico.

Participation in IMAsivo brought us many challenges and satisfactions, allowed us to give the best of each one of us”, said Patricia Garate, leader of the Peruvian 2019 team.

This competition consists of a group of women dancing while carrying their babies and “Baile y Porteo Perú” is a nonprofit organization that brings together mothers from Lima, Callao and other districts, who rehearse with their babies to produce – with the support of several public entities and entrepreneurial brands – the video that represents their team in the competition.

“It is a great resource that brings multiple benefits for both the baby and the mother and the family in general”, Garate told Andina News Agency.
