Between May 23 and November 29, 2020, the Venice Biennale will have Lebanese Hashim Sarkis as curator of its 17th edition and Peru will be participating for the fifth time.

This event is the most important architecture exhibition in the world. Peru is expected to showcase its cities with architectural proposals that have the power to transform society.

“For the curator of the Biennial, this new edition will seek to recover the essence of what was the first participation of Peru in 2012, where a group of architecture offices participated as a collective, presenting a curatorial proposal around a thematic axis”, El Comercio informed.

Peru will seek to highlight architectures of its local scene that, in a creative and pertinent way, are presented as an articulated portfolio. On August 13, at the University of Lima, those who are interested in participating in this event can join the meeting that will be held with this purpose.
