For ten days, the Museum of International Folk Art (MOIFA) in New Mexico, United States, hosted Peruvian artists as part of their exhibition “Crafting Memory”.
Local artists met with Peruvian artists to collaborate and create the exhibition “Community Through Making: From Peru to New Mexico”, said Fox News.
“The show is staged in MOIFA’s Gallery of Conscience, an international alliance of museums and historic sites that focus on telling the stories of social justice”, the aforementioned media wrote on their website.
People can enjoy screen printing, plastic weavings and large murals of what Fox News described as a “diverse and emotionally charged exhibit”.
The doors to this exhibit will be open until January 5, 2020, and curators will rotate the works throughout the shows run.
