The effective collaboration agreement signed between the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Brazilian company Odebrecht was approved by the Judicial Branch without any exception or restriction, informed prosecutor Rafael Vela Barba, coordinator of the special team for the Lava Jato case.

“The magistrate considered that the homologation is ‘a milestone’ within the jurisprudence system for large-scale corruption cases and also stressed that it is the end of a joint effort between the Prosecutor’s Office and the Public Prosecutor’s Office”, El Peruano said.

The special team of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the Lava Jato case signed on February 15 of this year the Benefit and Effective Collaboration Agreement with the Norberto Odebrecht Company.
