“Korea: Yesterday and Today” is the name of the seminar of Korean studies that the embassy of that country will develop in the Ricardo Palma University next week, according to information from El Peruano. In it, the relationship between these nations will be analyzed.
The cultural activity will be inaugurated by the Ambassador of Korea, June-hyuck Cho, and will be attended by the authorities of the university and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru.
“On Thursday 7 (June), the deputy director of the Commercial Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Baekjin Kim, will address the topic of economic cooperation between Korea and Peru”, said El Peruano.
Kim will also explain the economic status of Korea in the world, as well as the current cooperation between his country and Peru. The Peruvian Minister, Enrique Cárdenas, will speak later about the Korean culture in the present since he served at the Peruvian Embassy in Korea for the past six years and has many experiences to share.
On Friday, June 8, the film Joint Security Area, directed by Chan-wook Park will be screened at the Ricardo Palma auditorium.
