The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, manifested his support for the Peruvian National Soccer Team, also known as the Blanquirroja.
On a radio transmission last Friday in Budapest, Orbán told the audience that he supported Peru in the World Cup in Russia and that he was very sad when the team got eliminated from the championship.
“I am a fan of Peru, and that is why yesterday my heart wept and bled because we were eliminated”, the Prime Minister said, as you can read in the Embassy of Hungary in Lima’s Facebook page.
“Everyone has their customs since they were a child, and mine is being a fan of Cubillas’ players”, Orbán added during his radio intervention in Radio Pública, last Friday.
According to the Embassy of Hungary in Lima, this message is a proof of solidarity to the Peruvian people and the soccer team. He wishes them the best on their last game today against Australia.
