Despegar.com launched a new edition of the campaign “I Love Peru” offering low-cost plane tickets until September 7.

The offer is aimed at domestic travelers who want to get to know the country and the tickets are available for the cities of Cusco, Arequipa, Cajamarca, Iquitos, Tarapoto, Piura, Tacna, Pucallpa, Jauja, Puno, Trujillo, and others, according to information from El Comercio.

“It is important that the information that the consumer has is accurate so that he or she can choose the travel package that suits him or her best”, said to El Comercio Diego Castro, Country Manager of Despegar.com.

Castro added that about 70% of national travelers do not seek touristic advice before planning a trip and that is why he believes that it is important to promote a better tourism culture.

The price offer of “I Love Peru” will not only apply to airline tickets, but also to accommodation services, tour packages and tourist activities. The public can access flights from $32 US dollars or S / 105; in the case of accommodations, there are offers from S / 157; tourist packages from $86 US dollars or S / 283; and tourist activities from $13 US dollars or S / 43.
