The Pan-American Games Torch Will Visit 26 Emblematic Cities In Peru

Last Thursday, July 4, the Pan-American Games torch started its route after lighting its flame in the Incan citadel Machu Picchu in Cusco. It will visit a total of 26 emblematic cities in Peru.

The route the torch will cover will end on July 25 at the National Stadium where the Inauguration Ceremony of the Pan-American Lima Games 2019 will take place.

Considered as the most important sports event of the continent, the Lima Games’ torch will visit Machu Picchu, Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain), the Colca Valley, the Nazca Lines, Lake Titicaca and Chan Chan.
