The Parapan American Games that took place in the Peruvian capital of Lima culminated a few days ago and Brazil resulted in the highest winner of this edition with 308 medals.
Out of all of the medals won by Brazil, 124 were gold, 99 silver and 85 bronze. Peru achieved a total of 15 (5 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze).
Second place went to the United States with 185 medals and Mexico was the third place with 158, according to information from Depor.
“Lima lit the flame of the Parapan American Games on Friday with an artistic show about the cultures of Ancient Peru”, reported the aforementioned sports website.
More than 40,000 people watched live the closing show and ceremony last Friday, ending the sixth edition of the Parapan American Games.
