Stephen Gilchrist Glover, better known by his stage name Steve-O that you might remember from a TV series called Jackass, was recently in Peru where he decided to adopt a street dog to be his companion while traveling around the world.
“As promotion for Ultimate Expedition, he released some behind-the-scenes footage that shows him on the hunt for a street dog to take in—and it’s probably the friendliest we’ve ever seen him”, Complex wrote.
Just as he landed in Peru, Steve bought dog food and went around town trying to feed stray dogs. That is how he met Wendy. He fed her and left, only to find out that later that night, she appeared with many more dogs waiting to be fed. “It is truly a heartwarming moment”, Complex said.
Steve tried to sneak Wendy into the hotel but ended spending the night in a tent after the managers told him animals weren’t allowed inside. After a bath and a visit to the vet, Wendy accompanied Steve in his journey on the mountains in Peru and even got a plane ticket to travel to Los Angeles with him.
“I think I’m gonna buy her a ticket on every airplane I ever get on and bring her virtually everywhere I go for the rest of her life,” he said. “I love this dog so much”, he added.
