“Netflix Peru stated that the company ‘has increased prices in the United States and in several markets in Latin America and the Caribbean where billing is done in US dollars, which does not affect Peru’,” Perú 21 explained.
The streaming company also said that the increase is due to the fact that from time to time they need to invest to add more exclusive series and films to their database, as well as develop new functionalities on the platform to improve the overall experience.
