Peruvians were asked in the last study of Pulso Perú by Datum if they were willing to buy a new television set to enjoy the soccer games of the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Russia this year.
28% of the surveyed answered positively, meanwhile, 68% said they do not have plans to do so.
“Thus, men are the most enthusiastic about this idea, given that 31.6% opt for the purchase, while, in the case of women, this figure reaches 24%”, you can read in Gestión.
The study also shows that at the regional level, 34% of people living in the center of the country prefer the purchase of a new television to watch the World Cup and 37.4% of families living in eastern Peru as well.
The lowest references on those who plan to buy a new television are recorded in Lima and Callao (22.4%) and in the south of the country (24.8%).
“By socioeconomic level, those who plan to buy a new television to watch the sporting event are more focused on segments D and E, with 26.5% and 29.9%, respectively.”, informed Gestión, citing Pulso Perú.
As for age groups, 30.7% of Peruvians between 25 and 34 years of age are the ones who would go mostly for the purchases of a new television, followed by those between 35 and 45 years of age (28.8%).
