Casa Perú Opens Its Doors In Beijing

The first Casa Perú in Beijing, China, opened its doors to offer products such as alpaca garments, superfoods, coffee, pisco, handicrafts and jewelry of renowned Peruvian brands in a space that combines the promotion of commerce and tourism with tradition and culture.

“The multi-product store of Peru in China rises to the wave of new preferences of Chinese consumers by the format of ‘multi-brand stores’ and ‘lifestyle shops’, the counter-attack of shopping centers faced with the onslaught of online shopping”, said El Comercio.

Also, according to this media, it is estimated that the emerging middle class in China represents 20% of the adult population, which is about 204 million potential customers.

Multi-brand stores like Casa Perú offer a diversified offer of labels and quality articles in a comfortable environment.

The Casa Peru permanent store is the second project with Peru of the Chinese investor Huang Zhaohui, owner of the company World Link. In December of last year, he inaugurated the Alpaca del Perú store that develops the multi-brand concept, in a shopping center of the historic Wangfujing street. Almost a year later, it launched the first Casa Perú store that brings together the multi-brand and lifestyle formats, in a shopping center in the modern and busy Sanlitun area of the Chinese capital. Both stores offer exclusively flagship products of prestigious Peruvian brands.
