For the second year in a row, Peru has managed to stand out as the preferred destination of the Americas for Chinese visitors thanks to the tourist attractions the country offers and the efforts of tourist promoters -public and private- to showcase the Inca land in the Asian giant.
On this occasion, the Commercial Office of Peru in Shanghai (OCEX Shanghai) presented at Shanghái World Travel Fair (SWTF) a variety of options offered by Peru to international tourists, particularly to the Chinese traveler, informed Nacional.
“Peru can be a multi-destination option for the Asian and Chinese traveler, mainly,” said OCEX Shanghai Trade Adviser Vladimír Kocerha, according to this media.
The Peruvian pavilion during this tourism fair had companies such as Dolphin Amazon Cruises SAC and Jungle Experiences Amazon River Cruises offering their services of cruises in the Amazon.
Also, the new flights that will connect Cusco with Iquitos were highlighted in the fair, which will allow the Chinese travelers enjoy both Machu Picchu and the Amazon.
“For a Chinese traveler, who comes from so far, to combine these two experiences, as well as other excellent options offered by Peru as its gastronomy, the Nazca lines and visits to other important tourist places such as Puno and Arequipa, will allow them to live a unique experience in our country”, said the commercial counselor of the OCEX Shanghai, Vladimír Kocerha.
Among other Peruvian representation were the tourism agencies Cóndor Travel-Tianma and Lamei Tour, who offered tourist packages for Peru as a starting point for other destinations in South America.
