Cusco was chosen as one of the best destinations in the world in the annual Travelers Choice Awards of the tourist website TripAdvisor, prevailing against Sydney (Australia) and Tel Aviv (Israel), and therefore making it to the 23rd place.
“Cusco has a certain magic that enchants everyone. Its cobblestone streets, its archaeological remains, its people and an immense list of wonders that it offers its visitors”, said El Comercio, adding that all of these and more were probably some of the reasons this city was chosen for the aforementioned list.
According to El Comercio, the users highlighted the excellent hotel service, the varied menu in restaurants and the endless attractions they could find in Cusco.
It should be noted that the first place was for London (England), followed by Paris (France), Rome (Italy), and Crete (Greece).
