Yesterday, the winners of the 8th stage of the Dakar Rally were Sébastien Loeb in cars and Toby Price in motorcycles. Today, the pilots face the 9th stage of the race in Pisco.
“The Frenchman, who came out much later than the rest of the favorites due to his poor classification in the seventh stage, took the win in the cars ahead of Al Attiyah, who reinforced his leadership and his aspirations for victory”, AS revealed.
“Loeb is now third between Nani Roma and Stephane Peterhansel, with which apparently the second place will be played … awaiting the failure of Toyota’s Qatari”, they continued.
The motorcycling category had the Austrian Walkner leading, ahead of the Chilean Quintanilla and the Australian Toby Price.
Tomorrow, the 2019 edition of the Dakar Rally ends with a race that will take the pilots from Pisco to Lima.
