Entrepreneurs who want to grow in the tourism sector can submit applications for financing.
The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) of Peru opened today the second edition of the contest Turismo Emprende, an initiative that seeks to promote the creation, development, and consolidation of tourism ventures, as you can read in Innova Spain.
There are two modalities: The start-up of new projects, or the expansion of existing tourism ventures.
“In both cases, financing is chosen to promote initiatives that involve protected natural areas and cultural heritage, always promoting local economic development.”, Innova Spain said.
Between April 21 and May 25, entrepreneurs who want to grow in the tourism sector in Peru can submit their applications through the program’s website. Then, a committee will evaluate all of the applications during the following weeks and will select the winning projects, whose names will be announced in the month of July.
The commitment of the ventures will be particularly valued for aspects such as responsible conservation, sustainable use and economic development of the Peruvian country, among other factors, according to information from Innova Spain.
