Expo Café Perú Will Bring Together Participants From 15 Different Countries

The eighth edition of Expo Café Perú 2018 will bring together participants from 15 countries and 150 exhibiting companies of different products and services, as well as the attendance of more than 10,000 people to the Lima Convention Center.

According to information from Andina News agency, several activities will be carried out in the event, such as business rounds, barista and bartender competitions, as well as the fifth symposium of the coffee industry.

“Expo Café Peru is an opportunity to promote the coffee culture of one of the countries that has the greatest variety of coffee qualities to offer to the world,” said Eduardo Montauban, president of the Organizing Committee of the Expo Café Perú 2018.

For his part, Roger Valencia, Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, said that the platform seeks to promote domestic consumption and the image of Peruvian coffee, as well as uniting coffee clusters in an international activity. It is also part of the strategy to promote “Cafés del Perú”.

“Cafés del Perú is good news that joins the strategy that has the goal of exceeding 50,000 million dollars in exports for this year and breaking the barrier of 13,000 million in exports of value-added products,” he added. Valencia.

Also, this event will allow having 25 business negotiation tables in which the main international companies will be able to meet and establish profitable business agreements with Peruvian products and entrepreneurs.
