Luis Angel Jaramillo, known as “Miguel Rivera”, the star of the Disney Pixar movie Coco, will soon arrive in Lima as part of a tour on this region.
The mariachi group Gallito de Oro will accompany the artist and they will perform several themes from the film, as well as other Mexican songs, said Andina news agency.
"I'm excited to visit Peru and be able to sing the songs that I play in Coco. We are preparing a show with which I hope to win the hearts of all Peruvians", said Luis Angel, adding that the tour will also include Bolivia and Ecuador.
Luis Angel Jaramillo, now 13-years-old, has been trying to dabble in traditional Mexican music since he was seven-years-old.
“Born in San Francisco del Rincón, Guanajuato, Mexico, the child has participated in various talent programs, including Pequeños Gigantes and La Voz Kids”, wrote Andina, explaining that videos from these shows helped him win his part in Coco.
Coco is a 2017 American 3D computer-animated fantasy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The story follows a 12-year-old boy named Miguel Rivera who is accidentally transported to the land of the dead, where he seeks the help of his deceased musician great-great-grandfather to return him to his family among the living, you can read in Wikipedia.
