Peru Began On Thursday Its Participation In The South American Beach Games

With a delegation of 67 athletes, most of them belonging to the Top Peru program of the Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD) and the Sports Support Program (PAD), Peru began on Thursday its participation in the fourth South American Beach Games Rosario 2019, taking place in Argentina.

The national delegation includes the Olympic athletes Stéfano Peschiera and Paloma Schmidt and the South American windsurfing champion, María Belén Bazo, according to information from Andina News Agency.

The national representatives will participate in nine sports: sailing, open water, water skiing, beach soccer, beach handball, skateboarding, surfing (stand up paddle), triathlon and beach volleyball.

The games will take place until March 23 and other sports athletes will be competing are: beach tennis, rafting, coastal oar and beach rugby.
