Peruvian Foreign Minister Néstor Popolizio will visit China the last week of August and he will be part of the 10th meeting of the Political Consultation Mechanism and the III Meeting of the Strategic Dialogue Mechanism on Economic Cooperation.

The intention is to strengthen the commercial and economic ties between both countries”, said America TV. “The meeting was confirmed by the ambassador of Peru in Beijing, Luis Quesada”, they continued.

Quesada believes that Popolizio’s visit to the Asian country will contribute to further boost the intense and varied bilateral agenda that Peru has with China. For him, “these relations between the giant of Asia and Peru are at their best. A proof of this are the high-level visits in recent years”, the aforementioned media said.

At the end of March 2018, the president of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping sent a message in which he congratulated Martín Vizcarra for assuming the government.

“It made clear China’s position to work together with the President for the benefit of both countries”, America TV wrote today.
