In the framework of the Technology for the Defense and Disaster Prevention International Fair (SITDEF 2019), Russia’s State corporation Rosoboronexport wishes to strengthen its relation with Peru.
This fair will occur between May 16 and 19 in Lima and other Russian companies that are part of the Rostec consortium will be present as well.
In SITDEF several Russian developments related to military technology will be displayed.
“Peru is currently an important partner for Russia in military cooperation subjects”, Sputnik News informed, “The Latin American country operates a great variety of Soviet and Russian products”, they continued.
It was also informed that Peru is the largest importer of Russian helicopters in Latin America and that the Asian country sees enormous potential for better cooperation.
