Taco Bell Returns To Peru

In 1996 Taco Bell opened its first franchise in Lima, Peru, but three years after they were forced to close after not been able to recover the investment.

Twenty-two years later, and after having expanded the business to 26 countries, Taco Bell has officially announced its re-entry to Peru next May, informed El Comercio.

The restaurant’s menu will offer a variety of Mexican-inspired products with a unique flavor, such as its famous Crunchwraps, Chalupas, Gorditas and Crunchy Tacos. These iconic menu proposals can be enjoyed accompanied with chicha morada, Inka Cola or craft beer from La Candelaria.

Customers can customize their food by choosing the protein of their choice for each menu item (seasoned ground beef, marinated chicken breast or meat strips.)”, Taco Bell informed in a press release cited by El Comercio.

Also, for those who love spicy flavors, the customers will be able to choose from “not spicy, a little spicy, spicy, and very spicy”.

Taco Bell is the largest Mexican-inspired restaurant chain in the world with more than 7,000 stores all over the planet. It was founded in 1962 by Glen Bell in California, USA and has been present in the market for 56 years. They currently serve 42 million customers per week, you can read in El Comercio.
