Yesterday Peru celebrated Labor Day and in the context of this event, the website Ponte en Carrera published a ranking of the monthly income of young workers who graduated from the university between 2011 and 2015 to determine which careers are the best and worst paid in the country.
In tenth place the special needs education figures in the ranking. Professionals of this career gain an average monthly income of 2,060 Soles. The range goes from 900 to 3,100 Soles, you can read in El Comercio.
“In ninth place is the career of medical technology, where the average salary amounts to 2,052 Soles. The professionals graduated with this degree earn between 1,200 to 3,200 Soles”, this website wrote.
Professional mathematicians are in eight place with an average salary of 2,039 Soles per month. They are preceded by obstetricians who gain an average salary of 2,029 Soles.
Dentists are in sixth place. They have an average salary of 1,954 Soles, and Technology Education is in fifth place. According to Ponte En Carrera, the average income of this profession is of 1,825 Soles, and it ranges between 1,100 and 3,000 Soles per month.
Other careers in education figure in fourth place with an average salary of 1,780 Soles. High school education is in third place with an income per month of 1,775 Soles.
Finally, in second and first place, respectively, the career of elementary school education with an average income of 1,673 Soles and preschool education with a salary of 1,591 Soles are currently the worst paid in Peru.
This data was collected from the website of the Ministry of Education, informed El Comercio, and the list includes various university degrees that exist in the Peruvian labor market, and it takes into account the information of young workers aged 18 to 29 years.
