The United Kingdom is offering the Chevening scholarships for those Peruvian professionals in search of new opportunities and academic growth.
According to information from Perú 21, no matter your age, you can choose from different universities, including Oxford and Cambridge.
“The scholarship coordinator of the British Embassy in Peru, Manuel Pastor – in an interview with the Andina Agency – said that the scholarship seeks to boost the knowledge of professionals with high leadership skills or who have already assumed it in some sector of society”, Perú 21 wrote.
Minimum work experience is required, and pre-professional practices, as well as volunteering time count for applying for the scholarships. Also, those interested must not have already benefited from a Chevening scholarship before.
Perú 21 also informed that the benefit is valid for one year and covers everything from leaving Peru to returning.
“We evaluate four factors: leadership, contact networks or networking, why they want to study in the United Kingdom, and their future plans (…) that is, we look for people who have gone beyond their comfort zone at work”, Pastor said.
If you are interested, you can apply from the second week of August until the 1st of November through the website www.chevening.org.
