To win the right to participate in this world event, the students had to win previously the regional competition that took place in Mexico at the beginning of the year and where they fought against teams from Bolivia, Brazil, Mexico and Colombia.
Nilo Carrasco, a professor in the area of Networks, communication and information security at the School of Systems Engineering and Information Technology, commented that these students “are self-taught,” said El Comercio.
