On November 6 of this year the United States will hold midterm elections and the US Ambassador to Peru, Krishna R. Urs encourages citizens to register and vote through a video they prepared.

In these elections all 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate will be contested, as well as 39 state and territorial governorships.

“One of the most important functions we have at any US embassy anywhere in the world is to provide services to the American community”, said Urs in the video, emphasizing the opportunity to vote in congressional elections anywhere in the world.

In the video, he also explains the process to vote, which can be done online and then mailed to the United States. He also encourages voters to follow the embassy on social media to be updated with information about the process.
