After three successful editions in the provinces and following the same theme from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, the United States and Canada, the fourth edition of the “VegFest 2018“, organized by the VegFest groups, will be held on October 19, 20 and 21 in Lima, Peru.

Through a press release, the event organizers announced that there is a great variety of Peruvian vegetables and fruits with high nutritional value, “as well as the growing number of restaurants specializing in vegetarian cuisine that have opened in Lima and that set a trend towards healthy living”, which is why this festival is becoming more and more popular every year.

The location will be the Alameda Chabuca Granda in Lima and people will be able to visit from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm.

“This will be the fourth edition in Peru and the first in Lima. It has already been organized in Ayacucho before with “thousands” of nationals and foreigners present.

In addition, the organizer, Ruíz Bustamante, known as chef Rama, mentioned that this will be the first 100% ecological gastronomic festival in Lima since no food will be sold in plastic or technopor, only biodegradable containers will be available.
