The Destino Selva group, which promotes Iquitos and other tourist attractions of Loreto, participated in the Peru Travel Mart 2018 to show the tourist offer of this Amazonian region.
This event is a meeting of tour operators, hoteliers, and travel agents, who seek to promote Peru to specialized buyers from all over the world. On this occasion “the region Loreto presented at the event an important tourism offer through various companies and organizations”, Andina News Agency said.
The National Chamber of Tourism in Peru (Canatur) organized this fair alongside the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism, also known as Promperú. It brought together 125 tourism companies from abroad, as well as operators and wholesale agencies, and 135 Peruvian companies that offered various services and travel packages for archaeological-cultural tourism, adventure tourism, ecotourism, gastronomic tourism and incentive trips, among others.
The Destino Selva group is made up of Irapay Amazon Resort Lodge, Amazon Garden Ecolodge Boutique, Avatar Amazon Lodge Canopy Park, and the hotels Europa City and Época Hotel Boutique. Their objective is to jointly promote Iquitos and its attractions for traditional markets such as the North American and Asian markets, and for new markets such as Chile, Mexico, and Argentina, you can read in Andina.
“The PTM is a high-quality event and (…) Destino Selva has started commercial alliances with companies from Turkey, Spain, Switzerland, France, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada, among others”, said the Avatar Amazon Lodge general manager, Ninoska Moreno, representing the business group.
