Last week, Gestión published an article where they say that the company Coca Cola Andina de Chile reached an agreement for the commercialization of pisco for Cooperativa Agrícola y Pisquera Elqui and Viña Francisco de Aguirre.
Given this, Coca Cola del Perú reported that their company is not managing, producing or distributing pisco, they are only participating in the bottling of the product.
“The bottling companies in Chile, Andina and Embonor, reached a commercial agreement with some Chilean companies for the distribution and marketing of their alcoholic beverages brands in that country,” they said in a statement, cited by Gestión.
At the same time, they reaffirmed that, to date, Coca-Cola’s beverages portfolio does not include alcoholic drinks, neither in Peru, Chile, nor in South America.
