Half a year away from the beginning of the most important football championship in the world, Peru’s uniform is unveiled.
There is a lot of hype regarding Peru’s participation in 2018 World Cup. This weekend the decision regarding Paolo Guererro’s situation was made public and different considerations are being taken into account in order to be prepared for the big event. The last piece of information revealed related to this is the new jersey design the team will wear during the matches in Russia.
The sports brand Umbro was in charge of the making of this new jersey, and Norma Garcés is responsible for the design of this new version. Fittingly, she has been in charge of the latest 7 models for the Peruvian team.
It is important to mention that jersey sales in Gamarra and other parts of Peru have increased considerably since the chances of going to the World Cup increased. Millions of jerseys were sold for the last matches.
These new jerseys will be available to all Peruvians from next December 20 in department stores, Umbro, Coliseum and sports facilities. Sales of this jersey are expected to be good since Peruvians are extremely excited about going to the World Cup, many of them are looking to change their TVs in order to watch the games with better quality.
At least 3,000 Peruvians are looking to go to Russia and cheer for the team in real time.
