Peru and Brazil undertook the mission to restructure existing bilateral mechanisms in order to strengthen their strategic alliance based on an agenda linked to the economic and social development of both countries.
“The commitment was established at a meeting held by Deputy Foreign Ministers Hugo de Zela and Otávio Brandelli, respectively, at the Torre Tagle Palace, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru reported”, said El Peruano.
At the meeting, both ambassadors analyzed the situation and perspectives of the Peruvian-Brazilian relationship and agreed to move forward with a pragmatic vision on various issues.
“Among the issues discussed are those related to border development and integration, the promotion of economic and commercial ties, and the fight against corruption, with which both governments are fully committed”, the aforementioned media said.
